POLICY IMPLEMENTATION

PROCEDURES / ACTIVITIES / STEPS THAT NEED TO BE COMPLETED SEQUENTIALLY TO ACHIEVE THE POLICY OBJECTIVES.
THE POLICY IMPLEMENTATION FORMS THE BASIS FOR BUSINESS REVIEWS.

  1. Not any product can be purchased from any supplier.  Ask your franchisor for a product list.  This list will define all the products, the suppliers of these products and the prices that these products can be purchased for.
  2. Approved Suppliers are suppliers of Approved Products (products approved by your franchisor for sale in specific outlets) that are either manufacturers or accredited agents/distributors of the products.  Approved Suppliers must be able to provide (amongst other factors) full product traceability, proof of compliance with all statutory duties/tariffs, logistics competencies, etc.
  3. If operators are aware of other suppliers/product ranges that need to be evaluated by Retsol then please email detailed information to Retsol (supplychain@retsol.africa) – “together we are better”.
  4. Only purchase the Approved Products from Approved Suppliers unless Retsol is notified of supplier/product challenges per below (supplier management process).  Once all Approved Suppliers have been included in the Product Book then outlets must then only purchase from such suppliers as are approved by the brand.
  5. Purchasing from the incorrect supplier might lead to a food safety incident that you are unable to protect yourself from.  This will have a negative impact on our business as well as the brand.
