THE POLICY IMPLEMENTATION FORMS THE BASIS FOR BUSINESS REVIEWS.
One of the primary objectives of the Product Book is to leverage the consolidated purchases of all outlets to facilitate improved supplier negotiations and ultimately improved input cost prices for all operators. Suppliers will be providing Retsol with data of all outlet purchases for reconciliation against outlet sales. To assist Retsol in managing the Approved Suppliers all outlets should email Retsol (supplychain@retsol.africa) with feedback as regards; stock availability, product cost prices, distribution or any other challenges.
From our consultations with operators we understand that they are often selling a wide range of products from many different suppliers. The end result is that consumers are unsure of what products are available from different outlets from within the same brand. The vision is that together we should develop a recommended product range that is available in all outlets. From a consumer perspective this will lead to increased sales as consumers will be confident of always being able to buy what they want when they go into any outlet of a particular brand.
Note that the Product List is not intended to be the recommended product range but a listing of all products available from Approved Suppliers. A large dataset has been created for the Product List to ensure that as many as possible options of both suppliers and products.
